GORDES
THE VILLAGESituate in France at Vaucluse, in the massive of Luberon, Gordes is a very pretty village, greatly appreciated, for his history, his exceptional geographic situation, the quality of his cultural activities as well as his famous restaurants and hotels
Gordes, the village of stone It’s one of the beauteous village of France , with his “caladées” smalls streets, with highs homes builds on the rock.
His castle in the middle of the village, contain The “Musée” Pol Mara and the administrative center.
Gordes keep also about her property, the village of “Bories”, these very olds constructions builds with “dry stones”, the “Moulin des bouillons” and the cellar of the “Saint Firmin” palace. At heart of a green valley, we find also the abbey about “Sénanque”. The village has inspired many artists and painters as André Lhote, Marc Chagall, Jean Deyrolle , Victor Vasarely and Pol Mara. In summer there is many exhibitions at places imprints of history as “l'aumônerie Saint-Jacques” and the chapel of “Pénitents Blancs”.
Many personalities and artists, appreciates Gordes and are coming at their secondary residence (but this is their private life).
